Guided Tours
Kunsthalle Lissabon offers guided tours for different interests and age groups, based on each exhibition’s focal points. As the artist is most often on-site during the installation and opening of an exhibition, we make the most of their authorial voice’s presence by having them lead the first tour. Following that, Kunsthalle Lissabon offers a tour led by our Director, in Portuguese, and one led by our Curator, in English, in an attempt to facilitate heightened accessibility and understanding for a wider demographic of those residing in this culturally diverse city.
Through the engagement of different actors and fulfilling different objectives, each visit to the same exhibition will offer something unique and unrepeatable. In addition to a discussion of the current topics, the focus is also on time for one's own reflections and the connection to one's very personal living environment.
With the hopes of attracting local audiences, and building a closer relationship with Kunsthalle Lissabon’s surrounding communities, we will have the support of the Parish Council of Penha de França in publicizing and attracting participants for these activities.
The mediation program also includes visits carried out in partnership with higher education institutions with whom KL already has an established collaboration protocol in the area of training and offering internships to students and recent graduates. If you are interested in being one of them please contact: info@kunsthalle-lissabon.org
